At SMRT KÜKii Learning, we believe learning should spark confidence, curiosity, and a sense of pride in progress. Our KÜKii method is built around encouragement, strategy, and personalized support , turning everyday students into lifelong learners.
We serve K–12 and college learners with in-person tutoring in West Palm Beach and virtual sessions nationwide. Every KÜKii session is designed to be warm, structured, and empowering because we know that the smartest cookies are the ones who are supported, not rushed.
Meet the Founders
Sashah Damier Afamefuna, EdD, MBA
Co-Founder | Director of Strategy & Learning Experience
Dr. Sashah Damier Afamefuna is an educator, researcher, and academic coach with more than 15 years of experience in education, healthcare, and grant-funded research. She holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a concentration in Human Services Administration and an MBA in Finance.
Throughout her career, Dr. Afamefuna has mentored students, guided researchers, and developed data-informed strategies for program improvement. Her work emphasizes accessibility, equity, and whole-child support. At SMRT KÜKii, she ensures that each tutoring plan is not only academically sound but designed to promote confidence, resilience, and joy in learning.
She is also passionate about educational equity and helping families navigate academic and developmental milestones. As a mother, professor, and systems thinker, Dr. Afamefuna infuses every aspect of SMRT KÜKii with heart, structure, and student-centered support.
Edwin Afamefuna, B.A.
Co-Founder | CEO | Lead Academic Coach
Edwin Afamefuna is a dynamic educator with a Bachelor’s degree in English and over a decade of experience helping students succeed in and beyond the classroom. He is a teacher, professional coach, and award-winning mentor who brings a powerful blend of energy, empathy, and excellence. Known for his creative approach to teaching and his ability to connect with learners of all ages, Edwin brings warmth, humor, and structure to every session.
He has worked across grade levels, from early learners to adults, helping students improve their skills in reading, writing, math, test prep, and time management. Whether he's guiding a student through an essay or helping them build confidence, Edwin focuses on making learning clear, relatable, and engaging.
As CEO of SMRT KÜKii Learning, Edwin leads with purpose: creating a space where smart cookies can thrive. His goal is to ensure every student he works with walks away not just smarter, but more self-assured.

Simone Afamefuna-Caballero, MBA
Simone Afamefuna-Caballero is an experienced educator with over seven years of teaching and leadership in both K–12 and higher-level courses. She currently teaches Personal Finance & Money Management and AICE Global Perspectives, where she empowers students to think critically, communicate effectively, and build real-world skills. With a background in curriculum design, benefits administration, and training, Simone brings both academic expertise and professional insight to her tutoring approach. Passionate about student growth, she creates engaging, supportive, and challenging learning experiences that inspire confidence and long-term success.
Renide Jean, Ed.D
Dr. Renide Jean is a dedicated educator with over 13 years of experience inspiring students in the classroom. With a deep passion for motivating others, Dr. Jean excels at bringing the world of science to life. Her expertise in the e-learning environment enabled her to connect with and empower countless students. Dr. Jean’s educational background is as impressive as her teaching career. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education (Biology) from the University of Central Florida, and an Education Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
When she's not teaching, Dr. Jean loves to travel, read, and exercise. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young son, whom she absolutely adores.
